Did you know
As you looked down at the blisters on your hand
There would be temples accross this land

As you buried your sweet baby in the ground
In the temple you would someday be bound

As you pulled the cart along

Baby Sam

You started out with cute dark hair
Tiny fingers and toes
And so unaware
You've grown taller and stronger
And you are such a delight
I want to hold you a little longer
When I rock you to sleep at night
Your hair has gotten blonder
You are growing up so fast
One year of babyhood has passed.

Now you are walking
And doing a little talking
Throwing things on the floor
Then going back for more

One version of 3 Little Dinosaurs

This was a bedtime story I thought up a few days ago when my 9 year old son wanted a story.  He thought it was really funny, and so did I.  My 12 year old daughter thought it was terrible.  I think I've seen too many "Land Before Time" episodes.

3 Little Dinosaurs

Once upon a time there were 3 dinosaurs.  One was named Tyro.  One was name Chewy.  And one was named Chicken.  They were all friends.  One day they were all out playing together and Tyro got hungry.  Tyro could not find anything to eat.  So, he ate his friend Chicken.  He remarked that he was really chewy.  He was still hungry, so he ate Chewy.  He then remarked that he tasted like chicken.



The Beginning

At times I think up stories, poems and other things I want to write, but I've never really written them down.  The other day, I decided that I wanted to start a blog to share my writing.  I am not a great writer.  But I often amuse myself.  Hopefully you'll be amused occasionally and enjoy it.  If not, don't read it.  :)
